OAuth error "Login failed: state is invalid..." when connecting

Snowflake OAuth flows

Details of the issue:

When connecting to an app using OAuth for the first time there is a known error in the authorisation steps of the flow.

After you click to authorize Omnata access, the browser will redirect and display an incorrect error message:

Login failed: state is invalid, json unmarshal failed: invalid character 's' looking for beginning of value.

Workaround steps:

This an incorrect error message.

If you complete the following steps as described in the app (pasting the URL string and running the second query), the connection will be successful.

We are currently working with Snowflake's engineering team to resolve this.
