We are investigating this issue with Snowflake engineering as this is an unexpected behaviour change.

When Normalized Views are recreated automatically by the Omnata Sync Engine, existing grants are not being copied to the recreated view, and as a result, downstream roles will lose access to the view.

Customers should only experience this issue when ingestion schema changes are detected and when the inbound storage location is set to a custom location outside of the Omnata Sync Engine.
